Moving Frustrations and Blessings

It has been a rather stressful, frustrating last two weeks.  We are in the middle of purchasing a home.  We were told we were going to shoot for July 13th, and close no later than July 19th.  Here it is July 20 and still no official time to close on the house.  In other news our rental has been sold and we have to be out by the 22nd.

Thankfully in all the stress and frustrations, the Lord still blesses in many ways. Mark’s business, although still adding to the stress, by late nights and long days, has been booming.  The Lord has been providing over and above work for him.  Last week when we were supposed to close and move, Mark was working long hours, leaving home at 6 am and getting back after 10pm.  One day he left at 7:30 only to arrive back home at 6:30 the next morning.  So it was a blessing in disguise that we did not move last week.

I am so thankful for the friends from church who came last night for a girls night out, to help me pack.  They got so much done, and if we hadn’t run out of boxes it would be completely done.  I am so thankful for their friendship, their hard work, and their fellowship.  We had a good time, and the snacks they brought were so good.

As of right now we are packing up everything in the moving truck tomorrow and taking it to the new house and storing in the barn.  Praying we still hear something today and we can close before the weekend.  But looking for God’s blessings even if things don’t go our way.  It will be an adventure whether we move into our new house, or move in with our new house, or move in with my in-laws till we can close on this loan.

Cole, been reading the last several posts and sounds like SO MUCH is going on! I know it’s been quite the year! I cannot believe how big all the kids got! It’s already been two years since I’ve seen you and Mark and a bit longer since I’ve seen the kids. I sure do hope I can see all of you sometime soon. Blessings to all of you and I’ll keep you in my thoughts.
